How do I get the damp smell out of my duvet?

I washed my duvet in a standard home washing machine and dried it in a standard tumble dryer. As it was a warm day, I then hung it out on the washing line for a couple of hours as well. I then allowed it to air for about 24-36 hours. However, there is now a damp smell coming from my duvet that lingers in my room. How do I get rid of the dampness / the smell? More information - the duvet is white goose feather and down, minimum Tog 13.5, cover 100% cotton, filling 85% feather, 15% down.
I just put it in the tumble dryer for another half an hour and the smell has got considerably worse - there was no water left in it - I think the smell actually comes from it being in the tumble dryer - like when you put one of those back warmers in the microwave, but on a much larger scale

Wash it again with Ammonia in the water and do all the same things all over again. Ammonia works well to get smells out of all sorts of fabrics. DO NOT MIX AMMONIA WITH BLEACH that is dangerous. Just ammonia and detergent.
