King Size Mattress Pricing?
What would the "average" price for a King Size mattress set be from a name brand manufacturer ?
I'm needing to purchase a new mattress set (my previous one I've had nearly 15 years, dating back to when I lived with my parents!) and have no idea whats a fair rate...I don't have as much time as I would like to comparision shop, so will need to rely on the Yahoo Answers community for some help with a pretty big purchase...
When I search the internet I have to discern between those "specials" that don't include the frame, those in which you have to pay for transportation/delivery yourself, with/without warranty, etc. I have pretty much decided to buy locally and shopped around at a few different stores. The mattress I'm strongly considering is a Sealy King Size set, it is traditional spring mattress but pillow top covering (kinda the best of both worlds when it comes to firmness vs. softness)...I've talked the owner down to $1000 + free delivery - is this a good buy ?
Its really hard to give you an idea because prices to very from city to city and brand to brand. Below is a site online, which is open to the public but located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Not sure where you are but at least it gives you the average retail price and then their discounted price.
