where can I find a thick king/queen size blanket. It could be fleece. ?

Down ones come in that size and should be available in lots of department stores and home-good places.

I wanna make a no sew tie fleece blanket that will approximately fit my queen size bed.
But i was wondering how much he fleece would cost for two types of material one solid and one pattern. And how much it'll cost for the amount i need for it to fit my bed.

Fleece is approximately 54" wide. You have to cut away the selvage edges and then you have 51" material. From that the fringe takes up about 4" from each side. Now you have 43" wide material.

You will need two lengths, seamed together for each layer. That's 4.5 yards for each layer (color or print)...total of 9 yards.

Fleece ranges from $5 - $8 per yard, so your blanket is going to cost between $45 to $72, plus tax.
