Why Choose A Giant Stuffed Animal or Teddy Bear?

By definition, a giant stuffed animal is a luxurious comfort that can keep a child (or an adult) company for hours, even years. Remember, however, that once you succumb to their lovable presence, you will be hard-pressed not to find yourself the owner of a plush or two (or perhaps a hundred!). Mind you, once you own one giant stuffed animal, it's not far away from having many more of them in the future.

One of the pluses of owning a giant stuffed animal is that there are a wide variety to fit every pocketbook and desire. One can spend thousands on antique gems for which a collection would just not be complete , a couple of hundred on quality editions from plush artists (or from major companies) or just a few dollars for something large, soft and cuddly. If you're going to go all out, then giant stuffed animals are by far the cream of the plush world crop.

A giant stuffed animal is exactly as its name implies: it is huge and bulky and above average in size and shape. A giant stuffed animal packs a whole lot of hugs all into one big soft toy!

Some sites specialize in a terrific assortment of gigantic plush animals. They have a large variety where you can choose from wild animals to domestic ones. Some of which include, tigers, giraffes, and monkeys to dogs, donkeys and cows. While they also come in a variety of sizes, you will want to stick with the ones that are giant; for instance a 7.5 foot long black bear is just one example of what you will find. This bear is so giant in fact, that he is the width of a queen sized bed! This is the type of plush toy that is ideal for playing with given its enormous size.

Giant plush animals are extremely durable and can last a long time. However, even if your child chooses to rough-house with it, it won't come apart as easily as a much smaller version. But, at the end of the day, a giant stuffed animal is not really designed for this type of pastime. After you take a look at one, all you will want to do is snuggle up close with it.

If you are a toy collector, the collection just won't be complete without an addition or two of a giant stuffed animal. They are a must have for anyone that already has a large variety of plush toys or is considering starting to purchase them. By the same token, if you're unsure what to give your son or daughter (or niece or nephew) on their next birthday (or holiday) why not look at purchasing a giant stuffed animal? While it's true they make great beds and pillows due to their size and overall comfort, they are also outstanding items to decorate a room with. In fact, an entire theme can be used around them - the possibilities are endless.

Like most plush toys, gigantic plush animals are modeled after the real thing. You will be hard-pressed to not find one out there that your child may have seen on television or at the zoo. From elephants, to tigers, to bears, there is something for everyone.

Which mattress should I choose?

I'm planning on buying a new mattress at Sit N Sleep because they are having a sale right now. I've narrowed it down to 2 mattresses. They both feel really good, but I'm curious as to how good a quality each one is. These are both queen size beds. Here's the lowdown:

#1: Simmons Beauty rest Classic Plush/Firm was $899.99 now $699.99

#2: Sealy Seal Beach posturepedic Firm was $799.99 now $770.39

Why would one bed not be marked down as much as the other? Thank You!!

Well my recommendation is choose the one that feels the best to you.

But if you want a little more info on each bed:

Simmons Classic has 800 pocketed coils which is a great innerspring design because it minimizes motion transfer. Plus is conforms very well to your body. Plus you'll have a lower chance of it making any noise.

The $799 Sealy model that's on Sit n Sleeps website is their old model which has 667 offset coils which is a decent design, but doesn't have the minimized motion transfer or the amount of conformability as the simmons.

Both manufacturers carry a full 10 year warranty. Both are great brands, but if you want my opinion. I'd say go with the Simmons. In my experience they tend to be more durable, and have a higher customer satisfaction rate.

As far as why one would be marked down more than the other... it could be a number of things. Overtocked items, their current promotion may be sponsored by Simmons, the particular model could be discontinued soon.
