Little Girl Style Bedspreads...?
I want to get a new bedspread.. =) And im sure most of you dont know what i mean by "little girl bedspread."
The kind i want to get is pink, and frilly.. and not modern. More vintage. You know, the type of bedspread that little girls usually have in their bedrooms.
But everytime i look up "little girl style bedspreads" on the internet, i get rude links or crib blankets. And i dont want that, i want one to fit on a double bed.
A good way to describe the style i want is Lolita.. And although it is part of that culture to sew your own things... i dont want to get it wrong.
So can anyone give me a website where i can find these type of quilts or doonas?

Lol. Couldn't find anything to fit your description. I searched a heap of things in ebay though and all I found was a cute frilly baby pink canopy. (similar to your umbrella.) :]

I am going to repaint my bedroom, stylish ideas please?
At the moment my room is pink and has fairies on the walls and i'm 13, I don't like it anymore and I want something more stylish and chic. I don't really want to be a fairy princess until i'm 18. My bed is a double and its a dark wood that matches my big display cupboard and chest of drawers which is really the feature of my room. I have a lot of pink and blue stuff like quilt covers and lamps and cushions and stuff. So I was wondering whether maybe a feature wall that was a nice serene blue colour and the rest a very pale blue or maybe an orange or purple feature wall with the rest white? I just really want some ideas, my mum is open to suggestions. I would like some form of feature wall.

My daughter (16), just re- did her room, did a blue scene on the wall, added some clouds, then she placed collages made of pictures of all her friends on the wall.Looks pretty cool !! For inexpensive ideas, buy some fabric and make new curtains, they are easy to sew even for beginners!
