Because there's no way I could afford a real sheepskin one. I know it's pretty selfish to buy something for myself this close to Christmas, but after buying everyone else's presents I have JUST enough left on my credit card for this.... so I really want to get it.

Do you think it will be crappy because it's faux sheepskin though? Or will it just be easier to take care of? Plus, I'm saving a sheep's life. lol.... morally I would rather do faux sheepskin anyways if it's still of decent quality. That's why I don't eat meat...

Save your money Meagan - they are crap!

The 'wool' matts together and goes into hard sort of knots.

I dislike sheepskin numnahs as they are to thick. If the saddle fits there is no need for anything other than a cotton pad to keep the bottom of the saddle clean.

As for saving a sheep - you are not. Don't fool yourself! If everyone went vegetarian there would be no sheep or cattle or pigs.
