Mattress Protector Quilted

Going from moses to cot?

My little girl is 5 months and going to get too big for her moses basket soon so now thinking about getting her cot sorted out for her. Though need some help with what blankets etc.. to use. Was going to put on a fitted mattress protector and also a fitted sheet, what else do I need for her? As I was told not to use a quilt or cot bumpers

For my daughters cot I use a fitted sheet, then a muslin to kinda act as a pillow and also so I know where to put her down and it catches and reflux that happens, making it easier to change the muslin I have is 120x90 so it is big enough to tuck in, and then a flat sheet so only 1/4 of the muslin is shown. So again she can't pull the muslin up as she likes to suck them if she gets old of it.

I feel the bottom of the cot is lovely and cosy for her.

And on top she has a 1 tog sleeping bag and that is it, I use to give her blankets but she has started to kick these up to her face so she can eat them, so no more blankets but I am not worried as the room we sleep in warm.

cat peed on my bed how can i clean it all?

I have a brand new (really nice memory foam divan ) bed and my cat peed on it last night right in the middle. On top of the quilt, it has gone through the (brand new) quilt, (brand new) mattress protector. and onto the mattress. How can I clean all of these? The quilt wont fit into my washing machine and I cant get to a laundrette, The mattress protector will fit in so thats fine and the mattress i havent got a clue. last night i sprayed it with diluted dettol disinfectant and put towels on it and used an old quilt.

to neutralize the smell spray some white vinegar on the mattress and when it's dry sprinkle some baking soda on it let it air out the whole day you can make your bed tonight , but now the cat has marked his/her spot so I wont be surprised if this would be where he/she will want to use as a toilet , so my advise to you is to keep that door shut and don't let the cat on the bed , I love animals very much but not if they were to pee where I slept, make sure that the litter box is always clean my cat wont go in it if it smells .

If you can open the window even for 10 minutes to let fresh air come in that would help a lot and buy a can of Lysol to spray the mattress as well the rest you can wash .
