Girls Party Theme Ideas For Ages 5 - 7

A girl's party theme idea for ages 5-7 that would be a real hit is "My Little Pony". Little girls (and big girls for that matter) love My Little Pony. Send out invitations in pastel colors with butterflies and a picture of one of the My Little Ponies on it. Get pastel party supplies and balloons that look like butterflies and flowers. Fill the balloons with helium and float them on the ceiling with long curly ribbon ties. Have a banner with a pastel rainbow and flowers that reads "Happy Birthday (child's name)". You can have the centerpieces be pastel flowers with butterflies on them while the room is decorated with stuffed My Little Ponies. For party favors give each child a gift bag with mini My Little Ponies, coloring pages and crayons, sprinkling bracelets and necklaces with hearts and/or flowers on them.

One really cute girls party theme idea for ages 5-7 is a fairy party. Your party invitation can have pictures of fairies on them. When the girls arrive put a pair of fairy wings on each of them. Give each child a fairy wand and a little tiara. Now they can be fairy princesses. Decorate the room with pastels, but add a little silver for sprinkle. Have balloons in pastel colors that are shaped like flowers and butterflies. Tie one balloon to each child's chair and to the corners of the table. Put cut outs of fairy tale castles on the walls and hang steamers in silver, pink and white from the ceiling. Colors like pink or silver would be perfect to use for the cups, plates, and napkins. Serve pink lemonade, cookies shaped like flowers and butterflies and sandwiches cut into flower shapes. Have a version of Pin the Tail on the Donkey but change it to Pin the tail on the Unicorn.

Another girl's party theme idea for ages 5-7 is a flower party. Send out invitations that are shaped like a flower. When the girls arrive for the party, put a cutout of a flower that has been attached to a lovely ribbon around their necks. Make sure to have added a few sprinkles to the flower cutout. Give each child a piece of poster paper and let them decorate it with a flower garden theme. Have stickers, crayons, glitter, ribbons, and pretty colors of card stock, tape, and safety scissors ready to go. Don't be afraid to cut loose and let the kids use their imagination. When the party is over they can take their flower garden poster home. For gift bags give each child a pastel green gift bag with hair bows that have flowers on them, coloring pages that have pictures of flowers, and crayons. A unique favor would be putting a plastic flower pot, with a bag of soil and a flower packet of seeds in each gift bag.
