Full Quilt Children

Help with yearbook art contest!?

Okay, so I have one week to finish and amazing piece of before the dedline. The contest is to create a piece of artwork that reflects the school and it's beliefs and stuff. It has to eb in full color and will be judged in creativity, unique design, and positive representation of the school.
So far I've sketched out what I want, I'm having the schools mascot standing center holding a quilted flag that has smaller versions of the the flags of our schools nasionalities. The center of the flag says Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much -Helen Keller
Now, I have all that, but I need a background. And that's where I get stuck. I know that at the top, side or bottom I will be putting in the schools name, but what should I do with the rest of the space? A globe, children holding hands, etc....? Our schools theme is international in case that helps
