Blood stain in white heirloom coverlet - help!?
I discovered a dime-size blood stain in a cotton(?) coverlet which was brought back from a trip to Nepal. It is not thick, quilted or padded at all, not really much thicker than a sheet. The stain is definitely "set-in," as it has been washed several times since.
Unfortunately because the coverlet has colored embroidery / appliques, I need a spot treatment, something which will not bleach or damage the colored areas. Also please nothing so strong I could end up with a hole instead of a stain.
Suggestions much appreciated!
I just used Bio Kleen Bac Out to get blood out of a pair of jeans and it all came out even after they sat for a week before washing.
