these are both awesome!
i suppose it would depend on your son's personality. if he's crazy about animals i would go with the outback trails. plus its neutral so you could really put the set anywhere (as in paint on the walls, existing flooring etc). also the outback set could easily transition to a little girls room (you could pull out more of the yellows).
the blast off one is pretty awesome too and a kid might like the bright colors.
so really, though i am partial to the outback trails, they are both fantastic. hooray for grandma's gift lol!
US bedding sizes in comparison to Australian sizes?
Just wondering if anyone can help me out with comparison bedding sizes between the US and Australia (I'm in Australia for those wondering). I'm thinking they are like this:
Cradle = Bassinet
Crib = Cot
Twin Bed = Single Bed
Full Bed = Double Bed
Queen = Queen
King = King
Do you have an equivalent to what we would call a King Single size? I'm currently looking at buying a sheet set which is a Twin King which I think might be the size I'm after. These measurements may help to answer my question:

I think the phrasing I should have used was XL Twin maybe (rather than King Twin). Basically a bigger version of the twin.
